Official Mississippi local guidance describes both partners appearing to apply, providing proof of age and supplying information about any earlier marriage. It also describes parental consent for applicants under 21. Being 18 or older does not, by itself, answer every question about the standard local licensing route. The local guidance reviewed says there is no waiting period after issuance and that the issued license does not expire. Those statements describe that licensing route. They do not promise that a particular officiant is available, that a ceremony is included with the license, or that a completed marriage certificate will be ready immediately afterward.

The $399 package includes the ceremony. The $899 package adds apostille authentication for your marriage certificate. Both have a separate government marriage license fee. An apostille authenticates a document; it does not guarantee acceptance.
